The Google Maps Platform is a set of APIs and SDKs that lets developers embed Google Maps into mobile apps and web pages, or to retrieve data from Google Maps.
Google Maps Platform consists of three main categories
- Maps
- Routes
- Places
The current release only contains activities to interact with Google Places.
