Getting started

Permissions for Solutions

Access to Solutions is controlled through Orchestrator roles. To work with solutions, a user must be assigned an appropriate tenant-level role in Orchestrator. Solutions permissions are not granted automatically. An administrator must assign the following required roles to each user or group:

  • Solutions Administrator
  • Solutions Contributor

Both roles provide access to the Solutions experience in Orchestrator. The level of control depends on the role assigned.

note

Because Solutions is a tenant-level feature, assigning only folder-level permissions is not sufficient. The user must be assigned the appropriate tenant role.

Role capabilities

The Solutions Administrator role provides full control over solutions at the tenant level, while the Solutions Contributor role allows users to work with solutions but may be more limited depending on your organization's role configuration.
